About this Guide

Each Advent we revisit the same story as a church family. Jesus' "arrival" repetitiously shapes who we are. Inside this Advent Guide, you’ll find suggestions for daily reading and reflection developed with content from a combination of the books: The First Days of Jesus: The Story of the Incarnation and Christmastide: Prayers for Advent through Epiphany from The Divine Hours

We have placed "Scattered Ideas" throughout the readings to help you think about ways to bring the story of Christ to those who don’t yet know Him. These are simple ways to build relationship, and share the gospel with your neighbors, coworkers, and friends. You may want to glance through the whole guide early in December to see if any of these jump out to you (Dec. 2nd, 7th, 16th, 23rd).
